1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dry Rub:
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, cumin, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Season the Ribs:
Rub the dry mix generously over the beef ribs, ensuring every surface is coated. Let the ribs sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge) to absorb the flavors.
Preheat the Grill/Oven:
If grilling, preheat to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat to 275°F (135°C).
Cook the Ribs:
Grill: Place the ribs on the grill, and cook for about 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes.
Oven: Place ribs on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender. Uncover, brush with BBQ sauce, and broil for 3-5 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Serve:
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Tips:
For extra tenderness, marinate the ribs in the dry rub overnight.
Pair with coleslaw, cornbread, or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
